From yesterday to today

Back in 1976, the Péan family founded Camping Beauregard in Mesnois, a little village in the heart of the Jura lake region. To begin with, it was a small campsite on the family farm, with just 6 places, but by 1988 it was a 2-star campsite with 60 places and a swimming pool, and the welcome centre was built shortly afterwards. The first mobile homes arrived in 1992, and there were 150 camping spaces by 1996, equipped with 3-star sanitation facilities and multiple accommodation rentals. A restaurant was built in 1999, and the expansion continued in 2004, taking the total to 192 camping places and 30 rentals. A turning point came in 2010, with a new indoor pool, sauna, hammam and jacuzzi as well as an outdoor slide, but above all, with a fourth star, as a reward for 35 years of hard work. To celebrate this, the campsite became a member of the independent Sites et Paysages (Sites and Scenery) network, which brings together campsites committed to conserving nature, as a proud symbol of its success!!

A lot has changed, but just as in 1976, Sites et Paysages Camping Beauregard, the Péan family and their 16 seasonal and full-time workers are waiting to give you a warm welcome. You’ll be in the heart of preserved natural habitat next to the most beautiful sites in Jura.
